RefreshMe LLC ("RefreshMe," "we," "us," or "our") operates the RefreshMe mobile application and website at refreshme-74f79.web.app (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy. This policy applies to all users, including Clients and Stylists.

Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identity & Contact: Name, email address, phone number, and profile photo
- Account Information: Username, password (encrypted), account type (Client or Stylist)
- Professional Information (Stylists): Government-issued ID (for verification), professional licenses, service offerings, and pricing
- Booking & Transaction Data: Appointment history, services booked, booking timestamps, and cancellation records
- Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers. We retain transaction amounts, dates, and payout records
- Location Data: Approximate location used to show nearby Stylists (with your permission). We do not continuously track your location
- Communications: Messages sent through the Platform's in-app messaging system
- Usage Data: App activity, pages viewed, features used, device type, operating system, and crash reports

How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Facilitate bookings between Clients and Stylists
- Process payments and send transaction confirmations
- Verify Stylist identity and professional credentials
- Send appointment reminders, updates, and support responses
- Display your location to help Clients find nearby Stylists
- Improve the Platform through usage analytics
- Enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
- Send marketing communications (only with your consent — opt out any time)

Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Between Users: Client and Stylist profile information is shared with each other as necessary to complete bookings
- Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google) for data storage and authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and Google Maps for location services. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements
- Tax Reporting: Stylist earnings data is used to generate required 1099 tax forms for contractors earning $600+ per year
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public
- Business Transfers: If RefreshMe LLC is acquired or merged, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction, with notice provided to you
Section 5
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:
- Active accounts: Data retained for the duration of your account
- Deleted accounts: Most personal data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Some data (e.g., transaction records) may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and legal obligations
- Messages: In-app messages are retained for 12 months after the last activity in a conversation
- Verification documents (Stylists): Retained for the duration of the Stylist's account and deleted within 90 days of account closure
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7 — Your Rights).

Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypted data storage via Google Firebase
- Secure payment processing via Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant)
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers
- Access controls limiting who within RefreshMe can access personal data
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at admin@refreshmeapp.com.

Unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us
Data Portability
Request a machine-readable copy of your data that you can transfer to another service
Withdraw Consent
Where processing is based on consent (e.g., location), you may withdraw consent at any time in your device settings
We will respond to all data rights requests within 30 days. For complex requests, we may extend this period by an additional 30 days with notice.
